Backup data for this publication:

Taming the Amygdala,

      And a personal note

The last three papers listed above along with the backup data provide an explanation of the way the mind heals the brain during Depotentiation Therapy, the psychological therapy for traumatic stress disorders. A listing of the principal therapies in this group includes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Havening Therapy, and others being developed. These therapies erase the material basis for the emotional portion of the traumatic memory through depotentiation of synaptic receptors in the part of the brain known as the lateral amygdala.  Conventional qEEG analyses are also available for portions of the study.

The 3 published papers listed above can be found at http://tmt.sagepub.com/content/12/1/9.abstract; http://tmt.sagepub.com/content/15/2/81.abstract; and http://tmt.sagepub.com/content/18/2/61.abstract.

Email me for more information or to obtain raw EEG data. Note that BrainMaster(TM) or NeuroGuide(TM) programs are required to open the raw data.
